Tillman's Threads, LLC began in January 2025 by Melissa Tillman, a women-owned small business located in Forest, Virginia. She has a bachelor's degree in Clothing, Textile & Design from the University of Idaho and over 46 years of sewing experience. As the founder of Tillman's Threads, LLC she brings unparalleled expertise to every custom embroidery project and sewing class taught. Her sewing inspiration sparked from a passion as a child in 4-H to a personal embroidery need, when her daughter began hunter/jumper horse competitions. Tim Tillman is her Marine veteran husband who helps provide the digitizing and design work for customized projects.
Together we recognized a clear demand for small-batch embroidery needs in our community. We enjoy helping friends, family, fellow veterans and local small businesses with custom projects and alterations, always striving to deliver a product that exceeds expectations. We love to be creative and help others while providing a quality product that is professional and unique, right here in Forest, Virginia.
