How much does custom embroidery cost?
Embroidery costs vary based on design complexity, stitch count, item type, and quantity. Please contact us for a personalized quote. We strive to provide transparent pricing for all your projects.
See pricing sheet and call or email for custom quote.
Can you order items for my designs to be embroidered on?
Yes, we can source a variety of items to meet your needs but prefer you provide the items you want customized, subject to inspection for compatibility.
What is your typical turnaround time for embroidery projects?
Our typical turnaround time is 7 business days for most projects, depending on complexity and current workload. Rush services may be available for an additional fee. Since we are a home-based business, projects are completed during evening and weekend hours.
What are your operating hours?
As a home-based business, we complete projects during evening and weekend hours. We are available for consultations and communication by appointment. You can reach us at 208-340-1015 or tillmansthreadsllc@gmail.com to schedule a time that works for you.
Where are you located?
We are a home-based business located in Forest, Virginia, United States. We do not have a storefront and cannot legally advertise the business at our residential location. We primarily operate through online communication and scheduled drop-offs/pick-ups.
Do I have to have a brand new item to be embroidered on?
Not necessarily! We can often embroider on gently used items, provided they are clean and in good condition for the embroidery process. We will need to inspect the item first to ensure it's suitable.
What kind of image file do you need for my embroidery projects?
For best results, we prefer vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) or high-resolution raster images (JPG, PNG, TIFF) of at least 300 dpi. If you don't have these, we can often work with what you have, but a digitizing fee may apply.
Are there any designs you cannot embroider?
Yes, we cannot recreate copyrighted materials, logos, or images without explicit permission from the copyright holder. We respect intellectual property rights and only work with designs you have the right to use.
What if I have a very complex design or a small order?
While we specialize in small-batch custom embroidery, very intricate designs may incur additional digitizing fees. For extremely complex designs or very small text, there might be limitations on what can be achieved effectively with embroidery. We'll always discuss options with you.
Can I just drop by your location to discuss a project?
As a home-based business without a storefront, we do not accommodate unscheduled drop-ins. All visits, including drop-offs and pick-ups, must be scheduled in advance. Please contact us to arrange an appointment and ensure we can give you our full attention.
What if I don't see my specific item type listed on your website?
Our listed items are just examples! Please reach out to us with details about your specific item. We are always happy to discuss possibilities and see if we can accommodate your embroidery needs for other clothing items or accessories not explicitly mentioned.
Do I have to have my own machine to take a sewing lesson?
No, you do not need to own your own machine to take a lesson. We can provide a machine for you to use during the class. However, if you wish to learn on your own machine, you are encouraged to bring it.
Where are sewing lessons held?
Sewing lessons can be held at your location so you don't have to transport your machine or at our location by appointment only.
